Mrs. Julie Finley


Julie Finley is currently the District of Columbia Republican National Committeewoman; Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Project on Transitional Democracies; a Trustee of the American Academy in Berlin; and a Trustee of the National Endowment for Democracy. She is D. C. Co-Chairman for Finance for Bush-Cheney '04 and Co-Chairman of Team 100 for the Republican National Committee.

Mrs. Finley was a Founder and Board member of the U. S. Committee on NATO and was Chairman of the Host Committee for the Prague NATO Summit in November 2002. She has been active in Republican politics for many years serving as D. C. Republican Party Chairman from 1992-2000 and has served and continues to serve in a number of capacities on the Republican National Committee.

Mrs. Finley has been a Trustee of many community organizations including the Library of Congress Trust Fund Board, the Washington Opera Board and several school boards.

Mrs. Finley has worked for NBC, ABC News and the Washington Post. She was educated at Vassar College and resides in Washington, D. C. She is a widow and the mother of two sons.
